The club currently uses the one set of curling stones in Stockton but has to borrow and haul stones from its friends at the Sharks Ice facility in Fremont in order to fill the three sheets marked out at the Oak Park Ice Arena.
While this is feasible for special events, it makes it very difficult to promote steady league play and to do outreach events throughout the state.
Therefore, the club has embarked on a fundraising campaign to raise enough money to buy a second set of stones to prepare for the surge in interest during the 2026 Olympic season.
A total of $8,930 is estimated at the cost of a new set of curling stones ($7,975 for stones, $455 for handles, and $500 for shipping). Any small contribution you can make is a big help! Please go the payments page to make donation towards our goal.
