Hello Curlers!
We are the Granite Curling Club of California, a registered social and recreational club that works to spread the Olympic ice sport of curling throughout California.
We organize many curling events, including learn-to-curl sessions, games, leagues, indoor clinics, bonspiels, and we give historical talks. We specialize in taking curling to areas where it does not currently exist, to expose as many people as possible to this wonderful game.

2024-2025 Scheduled List of Events …
- We are not currently curling at Oak Park Ice Rink – Stockton. The rink has decided to go to a full open skate & hockey program at this time. Curlers in the area should check out the Wine Country Curling Club as your closest facility.
- The new LA Kings Ice at Mammoth Lakes facility is running drop-in and league curling themselves. Check out their dedicated page for more information on the 2024-2025 season.
- The Ice in Paradise Rink in Goleta is in the process of trying to secure funds to establish a permanent curling program. In the meantime, if you are interested in a learn-to-curl lesson, contact the rink here to let them know and we will be happy to return when there is sufficient demand. 🏖️🥌
- July 20 … Indoor Learn-to-Curl at Ice in Paradise – Goleta (Santa Barbara County). Contact the rink here to inquire about buying tickets.
- December 16 … Outdoor Learn-to-Curl at Ukiah on Ice – Ukiah.
- Outdoor Learn-to-Curl at Siskiyou Ice Rink – Mt Shasta. CHECK BACK FOR EXACT JANUARY 2025 DATE
- April 17*-20 … (Thursday – Sunday- Easter Weekend) … 2025 California Curling Championships at LA Kings Ice at Mammoth Lakes. *April 17 only if necessary. Check out its dedicated page here for more information.
